Global Family for Love and Peace

Global Family for Love and Peace was founded in 2002 by Dharma Master Hsin Tao, who was a child soldier for Burmese guerrilla army at nine years old. At the age of 15 Master Hsin Tao heard the story of Bodhisattva Guanyin, the Goddess of Compassion. From that moment, Master Hsin Tao made a vow to spend his life following the spiritual example of Bodhisattva Guanyin, working for peace through dialogue, education and service.

The long-term goal of GFLP is to sow the seeds of peace, bringing to life the United Nations Resolution on the Right of Peoples to Peace (A/RES/39/11): that “peoples of our planet have a sacred right to peace” and that “the maintenance of a peaceful life for peoples is the sacred duty of each State”.

GLFP is a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States and is in Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Interfaith Harmony Week provides a platform – one week in a year – when interfaith and other groups of goodwill show the world what a powerful movement they are. On February 2nd, during Interfaith Harmony Week, Global Family for Love and Peace invites you to contribute to an intergenerational conversation and share experiences, knowledge and values founded on your faith tradition that foster mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration. “Collaboration” is a call to action.

We are excited to welcome our Panelists, Cello Performer, and Guests

To share experiences and knowledge, and have an open dialogue on core values
in our faith traditions and how we can actualize these values in the communities we serve.

Peace Meditation

When your mind is at Peace

The world is at Peace

Let loose, let go

Let the fatigue body have moments to relax and rest,

Secluded, Tranquil,

Let the tangled mind have refuge to settle.

PEACE MEDITATION releases stress, relaxes body, opens wisdom, and balances body, mind and spirit

Ven. Dharma Master Hsin Tao.
