The Museum is dedicated to exploring the diverstiy of the world's great religions traditions and their interconnections. Over many years a significant effort was made to engage in religious exchange to learn from others about the significance of each religion. The Museum thus stands as an example of religious and cultural understanding.

Global Family for Love and Peace is furthering the example of the Museum of World Religions by encouraging those around the world who desire to inititate community museums of world religions that demonstrate the religious and cultural diversity of their local communities.
